Anyone use moeller seats on a ski runabout?

I'm redoing the interior of my 88 maxum 1700, it currently has back to backs and I'm considering changing to chairs. Anyone use these in a similar application? My new interior is all white.

Which one are you looking at. That is a list of different seats. I put captains in my Sunnrunner but they were small. My Crownline has larger captains but it is bigger.

You aren't likely to find a seat like that in a "sofa boat" those are generally installed in more utilitarian boats.... Nothing wrong with them, they just don't have the plush look usually found in lake boats.

I think those seats will take up a lot of room and may not match well to the rest of the interior. What is the beam size on your boat?

beam is somewhere around 7'-4".

The current back to backs that I want to replace are 18-1/2" wide about 23" long (from front of seat to back of 1st seat) seat and 16" from the underside of seat to top of backrest.

are 24" long, 20" wide and 16" high so pretty much the same size just a bit wider.

So I got the Moeller seats installed and I'm super happy. I could have gotten simple captains chairs for double the cost but these are nice, simple and they work great. I'm so happy I ditched the back to backs. These are much sturdier and they don't take up much room. They only downside is the lack of storage but I'll address that next week.
