I wanted to use a product called Amer Steel. It is a spray on stainless steel coating rated for 900 F. It is very similar to the spray on galvanizing. I was just wondering if anyone has ever used it and maybe had some comments on it. I have not seen the finished product so I am hesitant and it is kind of hard to get a good visualization with just a test piece. Its for the outboard by the way. I got tired of the phantom black.

Usually those high temp paints do not have a fine finish (in appearance). Since you are spraying a water cooled outboard, you do not need a high-temp paint. They have gold, silver, aluminum among many other colors and textures in spray paint.
