Anyone's hunting season start today?

Our season starts today.<br /><br />I'm waiting for the kids to wake up so we can run up the road and find some deer with horns.<br /><br />Suppose to be kinda warm today. I'm not going to get serious about hunting until we get some favorable weather (rain).<br /><br />Hot weather hunting sucks!<br /><br />H.

Bow season started last weekend here in Texas.

When me an my Pop were hunting, I used to love hunting in the snow. Just me I guess but there was just something about it. So quiet you could here a squirrel sneeze. Seems though that the weather patterns have changed. Last few times we went out, if was so warm we would set up the cook stove outside the camper and eat outside. Good for camping but not great for hunting.

Yea I agree on the hot weather hunting..things have changed..And yes I remember standing on a log in the snow and hearing Squirrels sneeze.. they actually do that a lot! <br />Because of the hot weather this year we decieded to wait until Modern Fire Arms season..to let it get colder.. and closer to Rutt (sp) <br />Wearing that hunters orange stuff is going to sux!<br />But we can deal with it. <br />Luck to ya all.. have fun and enjoy the woods

First day today - cold and rainy. Tore forms off the basement walls of the new house and put the floor system over half of it. So much for the first day. Wet and cold now, a hot shower will feel real good in a few minutes.

i'm not sure, but i've lucked up and had 2 diff guys invite me to hunt some primo mega middle GA leased land withem... it really tugs at the ole heart string. ya know- the one you develop as a tiny tater tot, out shooting squirrels with a pellet gun, then shotgun, then rifle. but i jes aint dun it yet. maybe when the little daughter gets old enough and i want to teach her about guns...<br /><br />i'm saving my time off for fishin. well, there is that thing about opening weekend dove shoots
