Aq125a fresh water Cooling question

Hello, I just received a 1985 bayliner 1950 caprie with a valve Aq125a. I got this boat and was told it was winterized already and the previous owner new absolutely nothing about the motor. So far I have found one petcock open on the manifold but beside it is another open hole. I'm sure this is the raw water side as when I filled the strainer water poured out. I looked in the boat and there is no "cap/bolt/petcock" anywhere. So my first question would be what kind of bolt is needed here? Metric sae fine or corse thread?

Also, on the fresh water side there was no antifreeze/water under the cap. I poured in 50/50 mix and noticed it all drained out from a barbed connection on the block under the manifold. What exactly does this connection connect to? From quite a few hours of research the concensus seems this is the coolant drain. There is nothing connected here and nothing in the boat. Do I just plug a hose here and cap it or does a hose connect here and get routed somewhere else?

Please don't say to reference the service manual as 99% of these post recommend. I do not own a computer and do all research from a phone that will not allow or display these files. I'm looking for a simple answer like "cap it" or "rout to under t-stat" and 1/2x28 fine thread.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

The barbed connection IS the drain. See if you can tighten the barbed connection into the hex fitting it sits in.

Great! That is what I thought, I will get at it today and try to tighten it up. As far as my other question about two drains on the lower rear of my exhaust manifold, I have looked at a few parts diagrams and what it looks like is I may be missing some pieces to the raw water Cooling system. From the parts diagram it looks like a copper connection from beside the petcock on the manifold, looks like it goes to some missing contraption that would be mounted near the oil filter and routed back to the raw water tank?

I spent a good hour looking it over, there is nothing obvious missing or disconnected from the raw water tank. I tried several times to get the manual from the volvo penta site but the closest I have found is only for the stern drive. Can't seem to find the engine manual.

Is it possible for someone not only to answer this question but post a direct link to the manual for a 1985 volvo AQ125A?

As stated, this is how I received this vessel. I was told it was winterized. There are no parts, nuts, bolts or anything of the like inside the boat.

Okay, just checked the boat. I tightened up the barbed connection on the block = no more fresh water leak!

I checked and it looks like the exhaust manifold has a petcock and then beside it is the copper tube, the copper tube is there and intact and connected. It's the copper tube that is missing a petcock, nothing is there, water just pours out. Should be a standard petcock fitting I should be able to pick up from the local auto parts store.

So I suppose my questions have been answered. I would however sill like to find the manual so if someone could post a link that would be great.

Ya, that's where my issue is. I can get to the site just fine but my phone won't allow me to scroll over to the engine section. Guess I'll just have to purchase a manual. Thanks anyway.

Volvo used American and metric on their stuff.
The easy access stuff like the drain plugs and drive bolts were ASE and the motor stuff like the engine bolts were metric.

I believe the plug is a 1/4in plug maybe an 1/8in plug..
Try any hardware store.
Before you try to screw it in: get a tap to clean the threads.

The fresh water side. It's the same as a car system.
Pressure test it with a radiator tester.

On the back of the motor on the bell housing is a grease fitting.
Make sure it gets greased on a regular basis.
