Re: AQ131A sea water pump bushings
The one in the body pushes out easy.
The one in the cover...
I took a phillips screwdriver and ground down one of the four "tabs"
Used it and small hammer to start beating an edge INTO the cover.
The bushing was brittle and started to chip apart.
One it started brekaing up, I got a large diameter bolt tap and screwed it in part way.
I'm thinking it was a 1/2 pipe thread tap.
Got it looser and pulled out while turning.
You have to support the cover very good to prevent bending or braking it during the entire evolution.
The pump works better, but the body is worn down allowing water to pass around the ends of the impeller blades.
So buying a new pump might have been a better (but not cheaper) way to go.
Good luck
