Hello all. Have been enjoying my houseboat recently. My Volvo penta aq151 running fine. But this past weekend, after a 2 hr cruise, when I throttled back to dock, she stumbled sputtered and shut down, would not start back. Checked for fire and fuel, blue spark, nice jet squirt in the bowl. Checked timing and belt, as it should be. Thought it might have flooded, opened the throttle plates, saw fuel puddled in the intake below the carbs. Pulled the plugs... dry as a bone. distributor is tight, no movement since running smooth. New plugs, wires, hot spark ignition, new fuel pump, starter. Should fuel be puddled in the manifold like that and not getting to the cylinders? I'm going to check compression, but shouldn't loose it all of a sudden short of a valve problem...huh?
thanks to all...
