Hello,
Just tried starting the engine today which hasn't been used in maybe a month or two, and it's making a not very nice noise when I try to crank it. I figured it was a dud battery, but I brought down a fresh battery as well as used my domestic battery, which is new and well charged.
I'm thinking it might be a bad electrical connection perhaps? What do you think? Here's a video of the engine trying to start:

Curiously, it looks like the starter battery is now shot (I try to charge it, and the charger says it's full after ~2 mins, then it drops back down to ~10V in no time). Could a bad earth kill a battery?
Thanks in advance.
