Aqua Bug 1.75 points

I've got this cool little motor, a Aqua Bug 1.75 built by Tanka in the 80's.

Air cooled 2 stroke w/ underwater exhaust.

I can't locate any points (ignition) for it. I tried everywhere in town and Tanka customer service email which was undeliverable.

Does any body know where I can find them?

Is there a compatible part number I can order else where?

Or even better is there a way to convert it so it doesn't use points?

Cool they have the whole assembly, but it's $48 plus shipping!

Kind of steep for some points, huh?

Thanks plan B is firmly in place now, I just wish I could find out which points they are (it's not like Tanka made them) and order just the point set.

Or convert it.
