Motor is still under full warranty, howeve I would like to save myself a trip tot he dealer.
Thanks!

All 2 strokes are definitely not like that. My 1991 will idle all day, and always starts right up when its already warm. Sounds like you should take it back to the dealer

Thanks guys. I suspected this. I am more worried about my wife driving the boat, if I can play with gas to keep it running, she cannot......
Will take it to the dealer tonight.

My 2 stroke starts right up hot or cold. A quick blip of the key when its warm and its fired up again. I can however tell you that each has its own personallity and you need to learn it. I start mine cold with 40% warm up lever, when restarting, no warm up lever, after fishing for a while and it gets good and cold, I need the warmup lever again, too much warm up lever and it doesn't want to start.

sounds like the plugs may be fouled. Is it injection or are you premixing?? If premixing, measure the ratio correctly!!

Try pulling the plugs, and if the electrode has all black gunk on it, clean as much of it off as you can. if it starts better, that's your issue.
