Are some transducers and connections interchangable?

I bought a rowboat that has a smaller transducer mounted and sealed. It is about the size of a fat shiner. The cableis still intact an dth econnection to th elocater is about the size of a pinky. I have 2 older eagle locaters with a different connection. I didn't know if there was an adapter to connect to different locaters or if the eagle would even work with this one? I just didn't want to have to mess around with unsealing and disconnecting th eother transducer and resealing it. Not trying to be too lazy, just thought the smaller mor esleak transducer already mounted might work. Any ideas? Any tips on mounting th ebulkier Eagle transducer if I do go that route?

I haven't found any that are.. They seem to be like cell phone chargers... Every single time I get a new phone I need a different charger, even when I get the same brand

I wonder if you could plug and play between models of the same brand? Like updating without re wiring the transducer?
