Judge:

You must be retired to live in Cherokee Village--a golf duffer's heaven. I remember years back when a 30' flash flood came up in minutes and rolled all of Cherokee Village's tractors and reel mowers into a 30' pile 150 yards from their shops. Then, the flood took Hardy's huge downtown steel bridge, turned it 90 degrees and dropped the bridge into the deep river--not visible.

The mountains of Arkansas, including Greers Ferry Lake and Lake Norfolk, are great places to live.

WOW those are big toons.

You can come up here to South Dakota. 46 right now with a high of 55 today. With your 104 and our 55 we could combine to make a nice day.:)

Confusion here. What makes these "oversize"? My '88 had 21" width pontoons and my '08 has 26"ers.

I don't think they are oversize, actually under a bit, a normal round tube is 25'' x 25'' so an inch taller and 6 wider, 19'' tubes are actually the smallest I have heard of.

The extra capacity comes from the length, 28' is pretty big.

I'm wondering if he meant 19' as width of the boat instead of 19" as diameter of pontoons. 24" long by
19" wide doesn't compute as either a boat size, or a tube size.

Well I am a 36 year old retiree! Am actually Disabled and moved here so I could do more fishing, but I prefer to say retired. I do love this area, and we had a bad flood this year as well, had spent about 1800 bucks getting my sloped backyeard leveled for a pool and along came the rain and washed it all away lol

I wouldn't call those oversized. Ours at 25" diameter appear to have the same volume. I am noticing that there's little furniture on that one to offset the buoyancy. I bet it rides high on the water if it's not loaded with passengers.

There is nothing on it at all. It has a 70hp motor that came with the boat originally. Im redoing he floor with 3/4 grade cdx painted on all sides. Found a local hardware store with the most inexpensive SS nuts, bolts, ect. so all will be replaced. Here are some pics.....

I grew up down the road in Jonesboro and spent many a weekend as a teenager on the Spring. That was before it turned into the Girls Gone Wild fight and party disaster it has become.
