Armature plate installation question

I am rebuilding a 10 hp Evinrude 1960, what is the procedure for re-instlling the armature plate, should the support and retaining ring be removed cleaned and lubricted. Also what product should I use on the power head gasket and carb to power head gasket.

Yes, clean and re-lubricate very sparingly with some EP grease. The retaining ring goes flat side up.

Nothing is needed on those gaskets.
