Down here it has been the 11th of the 11th and we celebrate the cessation of WW1 on the 11th hour. Our extended family lost a few folk in the big one and we always take time out to stop and think of those who made this world a better place for us all.
If there's people out there who also gave ancestors in WW1 then I salute your family for their sacrifice and am proud to be alive today to help hold dear our freedom.
Ross

Re: Armistace Day

We have remembrance day here in Canada.
I am at work right now, You would think our
government could show a little more respect for
these veterans, buy declaring today a statutory
holiday. I think of any day in the year, this day
deserves to be a stat holiday. But as usual the
the rule makers are out of touch with reality.

To all vets that visit this board. Thank you for
your service.
