I wanted to put this here because I am also sick of the other tread. <br /><br />You Converted me! I bow to your wisdom and knowledge and I was really done before I posted that question but your post sort of bugged me so I was looking for clarification which you provided.<br /><br />You are absoultly correct in stating that if we would go back to the original intent of the founders we would be better off. The Politicians have created an abortion of the Constitution. And That is my final word.<br /><br />On a side note... How is Mrs. Aspeck getting over the trauma of the event I sincerely hope she and you are doing OK!. And I hope the little aspeck is doing well. Getting ready for hunting season? jgregory, thank-you, and yes, all the specks are doing quite well and I was getting sick of that thread also, so just wanted to share some of my own research in the matter.<br /><br />We are getting ready to leave on vacation - Saturday we take my mother and cousin with us (babysitters for the littlest speck) and head to Williamsburg, VA for the week. Yes, I am a history buff and do enjoy Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, et al.<br /><br />Littlest speck (23 months old now) keeps saying, "Let's go see the deer." So we jump in the car and head to a nearby field, where she gets all excited and says, "Deer! Deer! Shoot the Deer!" Do I have her trained, or what!

Yeh! my little one whats to go turkey hunting.<br /><br />Enjoy Williamsburg, I a History buff also Just don't have the time to pursue the hobby. Might go to Momouth Battle Feild or Morristown hqtrs next month for a day trip. Parent always said I should have been a history teacher. Instead I'm in Finance. Go Figure

Sounds like we have a lot in common - history, hunting, finance ... Graduated with a major in Business Admin, almost a minor in financial accounting. Greatly enjoy macro economics and in Ghana, and in our church in the states, teach classes in personal financial management.

knowing how things work here, i imagine there will be harsh comebacks to the nation's christian heritage posts. but i just wanted to also thank you aspeck, for the insights.<br /><br />i guess everyone here either likes to read, or likes to give their opinion, or get a laugh, or maybe just chat with peers. i like to read, and that was some cherished reading.
