At lake.. throttle arm won’t engage?

2000 Glastron sx195. Volvo Penta 4.3.

I cant get my throttle to move?? Yes I am pushing the release button. Any helps to get me back to shore??

Does the throttle handle have a piece that gets squeezed with your hand to unlock from neutral (the red piece in the handle)

Yes.. it has a squeeze release under the handle like most. sorry. I just came back to this forum.

Well. I went back and forth with it for an hour and a half. Finally!! It engaged and didn’t give me another problem. I am going to take it off and inspect the unit next week. Thanks anyway.
