On my Excursion 5 I had just tied it to my rod holder and that worked well but you dont really have that option on the Mariner. So I'm looking for input from everyone that has an inflatable, not just the cheaper ones. If you care to help or offer ideas/pics I would really apprecieate it!

Here is a pic of my setup so you can see why I'm having an issue finding somewhere to put it!

Does it have D-rings under the bow of the boat? If so that is where I would attach to.

Unfortunetly no, I do have two handles below the water line on the boat, been thinking of a way to use them however I dont want to get stuck in an emergency where I need to just cut the anchor to get away and cant reach it. Been thinking about an eye hook bolted to the same board as my seat......

Can you possibly squeeze a metal ring in one of those eyes where the line runs around the outside of the boat? Or just put a metal ring on that line.
