i tried my bottom end in the barrel and finally have it pumping water now i need to replace the back to back seals behind the prop when i got the motor there was oil leaking from the seals but when i checked the oil it was good and now when i checked the lower unit oil it is milky can i just pry out the seals and replace them or do i have to take the three screws out and use a puller and pull the whole unit out. 1984 v4 90 hp envinrude thanks

Did you replace the seals on the drain and vent screws when you re-filled it ??

Simple, easy and cheap or free things first.

no not yet but i got the kit when i got the motor it had been tilted up when i brought it home to take off the boat i put the motor down and by morning i could see the oil coming from the seals i am getting ready to change the seals but im not sure how the bottom peice comes off i see 3 bolts down inside i have removed them now do i use a puller to get the peice out thanks
