I have a question for you, what could possibly be the harm in someone advertising a motor for sale on the board, as long it is not like what you sell in the outboard motor section? You get plenty of my money from all the other stuff that I buy through the Mega Mall, but I can not afford to buy a motor from you at 2000 bux, but if some one has a motor that they want to sell that fits my needs, for 500 and they post it, the moderators shut it down quickly, and then I see them *****ing and moaning to go to the top of the page and look at the outboard section.<br /><br />I can not afford to buy a 2-3000 dollar outboard. And not to be rude, but you classified section sucks. I have an ad on it that I can not get rid of, that has been there for over a year, same as most of the ads on there. <br /><br />So my question is, why do you discriminate against the poor-er boaters on your board?<br /><br />Putting a 25-30 year old motor does not in any way affect your bussiness, and is it in no way any competition for you.<br /><br />I love your board and I hold all its members in highest regards, but come on, get with it. Its not all about $. You can very easily go to any search engine you desire and find stuff in less than 1.74 seconds. It is not that hard to find our competitors - just look. You don't need our boards to find stuff.<br /><br />I am very glad you posted. Until we started this business almost 5 years ago I also thought that companies owed the costomer more than what is fair. When all is said and done, companies like iboats are all about the people who created, manage and run them but even more the customers that we serve. By watching these boards we are proud of the people who have migrated here and we hope that you reflect the type of people we are. iboats is not some nasdac penny stock with the owners waiting to cash out. iboats currently is about 28 employees with families working to build the best boating site on the net.
