Hello all-
New to the forum, so please forgive me if I inadvertently breach etiquette.
I have a Pro-line 230 (I think 1989?). I took the boat out on the lake yesterday and had an alarm come on for about 30 seconds when I first teimmed the motor out after getting on plane.
Today the alarm came in and wouldn't clear and when I tried to accellerate, the motor would "bog down".
I loaded the boat up and brought it back to the camp to troubleshoot. The first thing I checked was the fluid level in the trim pistons under the engine and had oil come out, so i don't think thats it.
I also checked and topped off the main "mix" oil to make sure that wasn't it and the alarm stayed.
After a while, I turned the key on and the alarm cleared until I lowered the motor, when it came back.
I have included some pics of what all I have, and if you can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
