Audible alarm problem

For 2 years now I get an audible alarm in rough seas. Engine is a 1999-2000 Volvo Penta 5.0Gi PEFS in a 1989 25 ft. Bayliner Ciera 2556.. In August, I took it to the qualified V-P dealer here and he tested it out and said the engine analyzer indicated low oil pressure and high temp. Both were fine however. What happens is that in high seas the boat crests a wave and comes down hard. Then the alarm sounds and I have to pull back on the throttle to about 1000 RPM. Then the alarm stops and all is well. The last time I was out (end of season) it was very rough and it happened at lease 12 times over 19 miles. In August, the mechanic took apart the main engine harness and put it back together and said that the analyzer showed no further problems. This fixed it for a while, but the problem has returned. I am wondering if the engine needs a new ECM module? (Mechanic said that usually isn't the problem). I have replaced the oil pressure sensor and temp sensors (there are 2 of each on this engine). This problem is getting very annoying as rough seas are stressful enough. It never happens in seas of 2-3 feet. Wondering if there is a way to disable the audible alarm system altogether? (Don't think so). I see from the wiring diagram from V-P that this engine also has a MAP sensor, a Throttle position sensor, and a Manifold air temperature sensor (MAT).
Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Audible alarm problem

sounds more like a harness issue to me or possible ground issue
