Since the 55hp SeaKing was made by Chrysler, the SeaKing forum suggested I try here. 1970 Model# VWB27056A 55hp SeaKing automatic choke doesn't work, or is it automatic? I don't see any wires to it. In order to start, I have to take cover off of engine and hold the butterfly closed while someone else turns the ignition in order for it to start. Any information on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

If it has an electric choke there should be a solenoid connected to the choke butterfly. If motor is an electric start the choke is activated by pushing the key in. I believe yellow wire from the wiring harness goes to a yellow and black wire going to the choke solenoid. The body of the solenoid is ground.
