and i wonder if good ole schematic is still around...<br /><br />i just bought a jalopy to play with. the guy i got it from put a brand new carb on it, but didn't know much about adjusting it. its a mid 70's v8 with a 2barrel carb. after getting it home, i found that a flap in the breather was closed when running, once i disconnected that vacuum, it idled ok, and i didn't have to constantly rev it.<br /><br />now the prob i would like to solve is how to correctly hook up an anti diesel solenoid . i am going to get a manual with schematics, but i was curious as to this thing. it was wired up, but adjusted back off the throttle. i adjusted it just up to the throttle, but with pwr, it gives fast idle, when actuated. that can't be right... ? it seems like it would actuate to open the throttle when the ign is turned off, but then where would it connect? it was cut/twisted on a hot off the coil... <br /><br />just something to ponder...
heck, i don't have to use it, just have never run into this before.
