Hi, i own a rinket captiva 232, powered with a 250hp mercruiser inboard engine.

I intend to add an auxiliary engine for piece of mind, but I do not like to fit an outboard, since it will ruin the look of the boat, in my opinion.

There is plenty of spacy in the engine compartment sides and I think a small engine will easily fit (maybe 30/40 hp), just for making a speed of 15mph or so.

The drive worries me. Anyone have seen such a job??
