I installed a new 3500# axle on trailer last June and experienced high inside edge tire wear.... axle below

VENTURE 79.12" Square Galvanized Trailer Axle (3550 lb.) #46098

it had pre-drilled spring center holes, the 62 inch was spot on.. Is is possible I installed the axle "upside down"?, ie- reversed the camber?,, if that's possible that could case this wear problem.. I've looked at the axle and noted the sticker and language was upside down.. looked at the u-bolt plate on bottom and could not tell if it's got hole on top and bottom.. I dont think it's overweight...19.6 cuddy. 2500lb boat. if there is a spring pin hole on top and bottom, that's likely my problem,, Ive emailed Tie-Down,, got no reply yet.. anyone know if the pre-drilled spring holes are indeed on both top and bottom of axle...? thanks..

Re: Axle Camber

Think I answered my own ? Took a look at the pdf and it clearly shows the camber set with spring holes on bottom... I set them on the top.....what a dope I am...guess I've got a little job this spring to flip that around 180 degrees........
