With this horrible heat. We had some storms rip though Stevens Point.
Pushed down lots of trees, causing plenty of damage.
Had 4 branches come down in my yard. While my son and I were looking out the front window (we're storm fanatics) one of the branches broke and hit out window.. More like grazed it. No damage though. definitively thinned out my tree.
The storm knocked out power around 9:30pm Tuesday night. We didn't got our power back until 8:00pm Wednesday. Some others I know got their power back around 3am this morning.
An agent form Noaa said this?: "Based on what we saw here, based on the damage, we determined straight line winds in excess of 70 miles an hour,"
