How do I clean the funny looking metallic air cleaner? (1987 2.5L Mercruiser in an Ebko Marine Monte Carlo).

Remove from engine and clean in petrol (i think you guys call it gasoline ) Dry and refit to engine. Piece of cake!!!

Ain't that the truth!!! What are you paying for it? We're paying around $3.50 a gallon.....

OK the $3.50 a gallon is Aussie dollars (each worth about 70 US cents) so that works out at Hmmmm.... $2.45USD a gallon. Note to you... Move to Perth sometime soon....
