backwards steering on Telelflex Rack & Pinion

Just got this boat and after dropping it in the water found that someone has put on the teleflex back mount rack and pinion steering unit and wheel. Problem is that it steers backwards from the way it should be. Am looking for info on how to swap the rack back to its right position. <br /><br />Right now the rack is on the botom of the pinion mount. Looks like 4 bolts hold the two pieces together. Is it jsut a matter of remocing these bolts, then rotating the mount 180 deg and reattaching them.<br /><br />ANy help appreciated.<br /><br />Sarconastic

been there done that your on right track..<br /><br />if'n the rack's on the bottom,, it goes on top.. or visa-verdi
