On my 1999, 135HP, Merc O/B, I am experiencing a miss. All Carbs were disassembled and cleaned, looked perfect. Started pulling plug wires off of plugs and noticed that cyl's 1 and 2 made little difference in idle speed. Also, got the fire knocked out of myself when pulling all other plug wires.....a whole bunch of spark from them but not 1 or 2. They ARE sparking as I can hear the pop noise as I came closer to the top of the plug, and I was able to set timing on #1 cyl, I suspect a weak spark. Electrical diagrams don't show any relatonship between cyl 1 and 2 on trigger coil or switch boxes. Didn't have time to swap coils around. What are the odds that two coils would be bad? What is the common problem with weak spark? Thanks ahead for any help.
