I have been told by a local mechanic that the fly wheel main bearing on my 1989 90hp Mercury is going bad. He wants to take the whole power head apart, but I phoned a retired Mercury mechanic that I know,who lives across the U.S.A. from me and he said a good mechanic can take 4 bolts out and as long as he is careful with the 'O' ring and throttle controls can pull the shaft out, install the new bearing no sweat.. Sure would like some advice, as it would save me a bunch of $$ if it was possible and normal procedure with good mechanics...<br /><br /> Thanks all,<br /><br /> SabraJim
