1971 9.9 Model 94HB. Autolectric starts well with throttle in "start" position. Left alone... the vibration causes the throttle to move towards "shift" and "Slow".... It won't make it to the "shift" position before stalling. What do you recommend?

Have you been through the fuel system from the gas tank to the engine and checked to see that everything is clear, and nothing is blocked such as a fuel filter, pickup tube in tank, checked the fuel line for air leaks, bulb staying pumped up, how about the fuel pump has it been rebuilt, head bolts tight? Have the carbs been cleaned, rebuilt? Any vacum leaks, carb tight at mounting surface?
Is there a crisp blue spark blue spark on the cylinders?
Is the timing correct, is the rpm in the correct range at idle?
