Bad weather

This is really getting depressing. Rain,rain,rain. This has got to be the worst spring here in southeast Pa. I can remember. I am just about going nuts from boredom. The last 3 weekends have been cloudy and rain, temps in the fifties and low sixties. Not the heavy or steady kind of rain just this cloudy damp misty with occasional shower stuff. The long range is calling for rain clean up till next thursday. Looks like we will get cheated out of our spring and go right into the hot humid days this area is known for. YUCK

Know what you mean Flathead, Been working on my boat trying to get it in last Friday. Dang on weather just won't cooperate. <br /><br />Made my final punch list of 34 things to do before heading to the lake. Hope to get all of them done today,,,,,,weather permitting....Gotta go take advantage of spotty sunshine this AM.......SS

Our wet season FINALLY ended (I hope)<br />We went 40-some days straight with some kind of wetness...<br /><br />I gave up on my boat project until weather improves. <br />Now the weather cleared (went from winter to summer..skipped spring)..It's time for a vacation! To the coast for some crabbing and Salmon fishing <br /><br />I hoped to work on the boat during the winter, but I couldn't with the rain.<br /><br />Hang in there...It's gotta stop sometime!<br /><br />H.

Oh cry me a raging river What about your shop? I've seen the pictures of your Harley projects...<br />Maybe you've got so many classic bikes you can't fit in your shop anymore? Never thought of that! I changed my mind, you have my sympathies <br />No worries...<br />Summer's-a-comin'!

sorry you all have to suffer it is a cloudless 70 degree day here with a light breeze only complaint is the # of boats on the water... somehow seems trivial to your woes

LOL Magster, Yep it is a little tight in there. But I dont want to get all greasy I want to go out and ride or sit at the picnic table and drink a cold beer. Got out fishing yesterday but guess what? Thats right it started to rain Heading out now to help a friend with his new head gate, you guessed it,in the rain!! Go ahead Neumanns why dont ya rub it in a little more Too many boats sheesh!!

I'm with you 100% Flathead! couldn't take it &<br />decided to roll the dice and launched in lake ontario<br />today despite call for MORE rain...<br />was the calmest I ever seen, but a bit cold.<br />no rain and even a bit of actual sunshine!<br />then a huge fog bank rolled in <br />well, no fish to brag about, but at least got the<br />boat wet.<br />next weekend is supposed to be real nice up here.<br />one week late.. <br />hang in there!<br />M.Y.

Only one more day left in the extended weekend and haven't been out yet! Cold, clouds and rain Hoping for Monday and hoping all the nuts will be on their way home!

Well....along the banks of the ol' Ohio River, it was a partial decent day. Went down to the daughters house for a cook out. Passed some ball with the rug rats and just generally had a quiet time with the off springs. My son-in-law Bill said he was goin' fishin' and asked me to go. I declined. Glad I did. It's rainin' buckets outside right now. Still hopin' for summer....maybe get here some day.

Well guys, up here it hasn't rained all weekend (except late at night), but that chilly weather sure slows you down when trying to get stuff to dry. Taking forever to get my rig ready. <br /><br /> Wish the temp would get into the 70's. This 50 and 60 stuff is the perfect weather for grass/weeds to grow out of control. I actually for the first time had someone mow and trim my property for me. Got behind on my chores due to the broken boat syndrome.. It will be ready this week (I HOPE!).....SS

been the "one legged man" 'round here. kids breakin' stuff quicker 'n i can fix it. yesterday, two of my little girls HOUNDED me to take them out fishin'. i finely capitulated, put the trollin' motor & the ol' Rude 9.5 on the '59 Alumacraft and took 'em out for a while. cool, mostly cloudy but,.....................<br /><br />WHAT HAVE I BEEN THINKIN'?<br />too much doin' & not enough living!<br />already got the boat cleaned & ready (set it up about 5:30 this mornin'). As soon as they wake up and finish breakfast, we're goin' again today.<br /><br />Bad weather? DON'T CARE!,... life is too short to let it slip away. <br /><br />Today? sunny,... suposed to be 'bout 70ish. Heck, today we might even catch somethin'.<br /><br />see you guys tonight. the kids are starting to move.

Been playing it day by day here today was supposed to be the worst and still no rain. Only got a little last night but it was scattered and on our drive home from the second day at the beach. I figure the wife only gets so many 3 day weekends while I am off all summer so lets do what she wants this weekend.

You got rain,we got it in Ga. too. 10inches in 4 weeks. This weekend is not raining but rivers are overflowing,backwaters flooded,mud everywhere. Tried to fish sat.could hardly see the boat ramp. Dock was under water and for the first time ever I had trouble navigating because of high water, not knowing what was submerged you know.

boy it was a great weekend here sunny 70's just to many dang boats out so me and the wife went and ran down pwcs shulda seen the guys face when we pulled in front of him for a hour then went back to looking for muskys dang i hate getting skunked

almost every tournament I have been in was rain filled its tough in rough water rain and cold this time of year

Sure would be nice to be a weatherman,........how many jobs can you keep just by being 50% correct most of the time. Just think if you were a doctor,...."Ma'am, I am 50% sure you are pregnant"!!!! Anybody know where I can go to weather-person school........my wife says I am right only about 50% of the time......wonder if I can use her as a reference.
