bargin waterpump?

when pricing waterpump kits for 90 johnson i noticed that the omc kit is almost twice that of the sierra.is the sierra ok or is it worth the extra 25$ for the omc? thanks tom

are you looking at the same items, is one a impeller kit, the other complete kit with housing,etc.

I have had good luck with the sierra water pump kits. Some others have talked about bad sierra impellers, but I have not had any problems with the four that I have put in over the last 4 years. They pump water strong, just like they should.

I've used various Sierra pumps without a problem and the price is certainly appealing.

I like OEM for water pumps. Worth spending the extra $$ IMO.

have used sierra with no probs .and they are 25$ cheaper
