Replacing the floor in our Crestliner Fish Hawk tiller.
Will be installing 7"x7" Swivl-Eze base plates.
Not knowing the thickness of the top plate at this time - Will it hurt the strenght of the floor
around the base if we counter sink the base to flush?
Floor thickness is 5/8" and we are having over sized back up plates being made.
If the base plate is 1/4" it would leave 3/8" between base and back up.
Hope it is not that thick as it is stainless steel but would love a clean floor.
