I'll pass, I don't need any cards scraching up my spokes!! :D

I looked around on ebay, I found two of the one's I have for sale over there. One was going to around $600 and the other was going for about $150 :) I love it you find something you never knew you had and find some internet sickey will pay big buxs for it :D this made my week. I still have a few more signed one's that I have to look into, their is an old guy on my street who's into this stuff, maybe I'll stop by his house and see what he says. Their may be a big chuck of change that gonna end up in my Montauk fund ;)

Re: Baseball card colectors

Baseball cards are a sore subject with me, I literally trashed my retirement by destroying, trading and eventually just giving away thousands of cards when I was a kid. I can only imagine how many Nolan Ryan's, Reggie Jackson's, Johnny Bench's, Pete Rose's, etc were actually ruined on the spokes of my bike...dumb kid.

Ryan, Beckett magazine is the bible on card prices. Unfortunately signed cards are pretty much worthless unless you have a certificate of authenticity with it. Ray Bourque actually asked me one time if I knew what I was doing when I had him sign his rookie card. I still had him sign it, I'll never sell it, it's priceless to me.
