1981 70hp Johnson(max hp of boat is 70hp)
Can't get out of the hole unless the passenger of batteries move to the front.
once I am up on plane it rides good. seems to have lots of prop slip though.
5400rpm's 33mph
I assume the gear ratio is 1.83(but I could be wrong)
Thats a prop slip of like .3
I was expecting a prop slip in the .15 - .2 range
Is something a miss here, the prop slip seems really high? Currently I have smart Tabs installed and they don't seem to make getting out of the hole any easier. I tried them on 1 and 5 and similar results.
The current prop is a 13 3/4 inch 17 pitch 3 blade cupped and raked alluminum
I am not expecting break neck speeds but it would be nive to hold a speed closer to 40 and be able to get out of the hole.
