Good evening folks,

I've seen several descriptions on how to hook up 24v and 36v trollng motors, I've seen 12/24v trolling motor descriptions where you take 12 off of one of the batteries and 24 by pulling off the batteries in series.

Here's my question, I have a 24/36v Minn Kota, I use it when I'm fishing the flats out here on the coast and in the lagoon, I shrimp heavily during the Nov-May season here in Oak Hill, can I make 3 seperate 12v circuits off my 3 12 volt batteries wired in series for the trolling motor without causing some kind of feed back on the 24 or 36 volt series circuit??

that was a mouthfull wasn't it, I regularly wear down a single 12 volt batteries for my lights, I want to run 12v to the front pair of lights and 12v to the rear pair of lights to eliminate drawing down the one battery and running out of light for the night shrimping.. Oh, and isn't there something bad abount drawing down one battery in a set of batteries hook up in a series configuration?

Am I just over thinking this?
