battery charger

My 3 year old guest 10 amp 2 stage battery charger quit working not putting nothing out and indicator lights are not on. I am going to buy another charger but am reluctent to buy another Guest. Has anyone had problems or is mine just a fluke...<br />Thanks captlon

I don't know but these are often cheaply made in China. If you can open it up (might be riveted), look for a blown fuse. Replace with the same fuse type and try to use it again. If it blows again, give up. If there is no fuse or it is not blown, give up as it is probably in one of the electronic bits or a blown winding in a transformer...

Thanks but it's a sealed unit, it does have in line fuses on the pos cables but they're OK. I'm sure it's beyond repair Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with the Guest chargers?
