Battery Float Charge..Water Level

There is a lot of information touting float charge.

In none of the text or video's do they mention monitoring water level. What I get out of the info is plug in and forget.

Sure seems like monitoring water level should be part of the plan.

What is your experience?

For all us poor folk who still have water in our batteries...yes, monitor it. Even on some so called maintenance free sealed batteries, the tops do come off, and I have added water to some.
