i have been charging for a day and noticed fulid coming out arounf vents at top. is it boiling out. did it over charge? trying to get batterys charged for trip sat.

The battery is boiling (gassing). To high a charge rate or you have a battery going bad.

check your fluid, you may need to add more water.

To me this means you have a crap battery charger and / or a crap battery!

The batteries are boiling. Top them up with distilled water. NEVER allow the plates of the battery to become exposed.

The batteris are boiling because they are being overcharged. Can you measure the battery terminal voltage when this is happening? It would be interesting to know.
