Battery Location

Now that i've figured out i'm getting a rear entry railing set I'm wondering where I locate the battery. My gas is on the left hand side under the sundeck but the battery use to sit on the right under the opposite side. I figured I'd just put it under the back bench couch but I wanted to know where other people had theirs located. Maybe in the console??? Any ideas would be great, thanks!

We move alot of boats with the battery in the motor pan, you would need to come up with a bracket and strap to secure it but really anywhere in the back of the boat that it will fit is fine.

In the back of the boat is preferable due to not having a long run of heavy motor wire. And you should try to put it on the opposite side of the fuel take to help balance out the port/starboard weight.

Yeah, i'd like it on the right side but I don't know where to put it with a rear entry railing. I was thinking of maybe under the captain stand? That would be a long ways for the motor wire though, So I think i'll be putting it in the back seat as far to the opposite side as I can.

I think that is your best choice.

Mine has a sundeck across the rear and a rear gate. Battery is under the sundeck close to the motor.

The only problem with that Jeep Man is that's where my fuel tank sits wah wahhh
