So I was down in florida this whole winter and paid a buddy in philly to get my bass boat all ready for the winter since I wasn’t going to be there, came home to realize that he just straight up didn’t do it. When I went to asses the damage today, I wasn’t getting any power to the console and wasn’t able to run the bilge pump or trim the engine, but I was able to run the trolling motor. I charged the batteries over night so I’m assuming that this means one of them is probably busted? I’m pretty new to boating and am just wondering what the next steps I should take are and there aren’t many shops open with this whole coronavirus thing.
PS: I know my friend messed up lol but I got my money back and there’s nothing I can do about it now but try to fix it

since the great Carnac died with Johnny Carson.......

you are working on???????

assuming your trolling motor is 24 volts and has two separate batteries

first thing to check. is the battery condition with a load test. the next thing is the battery connections.

every battery connection needs to be shiny and clean

if you have wing nuts, throw them away
