battery question

I've got a 1984 75hp mercury outboard.... the battery I have in it is on its last leg... it has a MCA of 1000... I needed a battery last minute and Wally world was my option I bought the biggest they had 750 MCA will this be enough?

The Mercruiser manual specifies a battery rating of 475 MCA/375 CCA.

So I'd think that your 750 MCA battery should be plenty as a starting battery for your Mercury outboard.

I believe Wally World has a return policy. Like 30 or 90 Days or something like that.
