So I goes to my local Kmart in Southfield Michigan all fired up to buy my new $19 battery.<br />Sorry Mac, batteries are still $60, $50 for the starting only type plus something about disposal/core charge.<br /><br />No sales here.

that sucks must be a local thing the one here in hudson wi had them i know i told the 6 guys at work and thay all went and got them

As most know, KMart is all but out of business, they've filed for Chapter 11 bancruptcy. Could be a going out of business sale..all the K's near me had their GOOB sales and are now closed.

I've been into K-land a few times in the last month. They don't even have ANY marine batteries in the store. Just empty racks. And the auto batteries are $30 higher than other stores. No wonder they are in the tank.
