Bayliner 175 Audible Alarm sounds (Accersory not working, but engine works fine)?

I have an issue with my 2008 Bayliner 175. I have a new battery and the alarm goes off when every accessory is turned on including bilge pump, blower and radio. None of these items are working. The engine will turn over just fine. Alarm seems to be coming from under the helm, not the engine where the pressure / overheating alarm would be. Thank you for any help or suggestions!

First......Things first, :welcome: aboard, hope you enjoy your stay.

So if I get this right, the alarm(I/O engine?) is going off with a fine running engine but ONLY when you have turned on essentially every accessory? And when you have them all switched on and the alarm is sounding, those accessories you have turned on, failed to come on/work?

If I understood right? I'd guess there is a low voltage monitor(hmm, i better code that in my monitor, beer goggles happen, ty) in the system and I suspect ya might just have a alternator/connection issue.

Questions...

1) Does just one or two accessories work up until about the last switch is turned on and then they all just shut off in a instant and the alarm sounds? or

2) Not even one accessory works by itself but, it still takes about all switches on to get the alarm to sound?

3) Do you have a voltage meter(or on-board voltage gauge) you can view as a tool and can check? If so, with engine running, watch that thing as you progress down the switch line, if the meter is bumping down in voltage levels further and further w each switch in-turn(from say 12/13 volts to say alarm on and/or 10'ish volts), ya probably just aren't charging.

The I/O alarm sounds from the engine. This alarm comes from under the steering wheel by the fuse box. I checked the fuses and they are fine. When one of the switches is turned on such as the blower, bilge pump or if the radio gets turned on then the alarm sounds and the auxiliary device does not work. The boat will engine and trim function fine it is just the auxiliary power that is messed up.

Hmmmm, sounds like low voltage in the accessories system somehow, bad connection or the like.

Probably going to need to get a volt meter and check main feed voltages that come forward at like fuse panel. Use the switch/accessory that causes the problem to occur as a trouble shooting aid as you take measurements, the voltage somewhere is dropping out. By essentially splitting the circuit in half at some starting point(fuse panel) you'll work your way back(towards source) or forward(toward loads) depending on what you find by toggling the switch and that initial measurement. Divide and Conquer!!

It sounds like you are missing the battery negative side of the circuit ("ground") and your accessories are finding it through the overheat warning horn.

While you seem to have an issue with the accessories, understand that the Engine Alarm IS under the Dash and it will sound for Low Oil Pressure, High Temperature, or Low Oil Level in the Gen 2 Outdrive.
The engine will start and Purr like a Kitten with any or all of these failures.
However It will not "Purr" for very long, be Double, Double sure you do not have an actual engine problem while you go looking for the accessory problem.
