Hi, Just bought a Bayliner 1952 with an Alpha One and 3.0Litre petrol drive. I'm a boating beginner and it didnt come with any manuals regarding maintenance/oils/ and generally looking after the mechanicals. Is there something I can download or a beginners guide to looking after this engine/drive. Tell me the oil grades/fill and drain point locations / grease nipples etc.

Ps. Its a 2000 model with only 115 hours. Is running well around Sydney harbour and I want to keep it that way.

Thanks in anticipation.

Brian

Piece of advice? Buy the Merc manuals. I bought my first I/O merc last year and the manuals are not that exspensive and HELP A TON!. Plus I also picked tommays brain way back when and the mercstuff site was a huge help.

Thanks tommays!
