Hi every one ,
i am a new on this forum . I got my boat last year on September 2020 after taking out my boat from the water for winter storage on October I was informed from the Technicien that the starboard engine is overheating ( Right Exhaust Manifolds) over heating . Check the impeller first.
Then remove the riser(in pic) and check for blockage.
You'll need to remove the hose and inspect the end for crud blocking the holes.
FYI, the 5.7L with the 4bbl. is a 260
I think yours is a 5.0 4bbl. 225 (I could be wrong?)

with the AQ series drives, you need to start at the water inlet casting. they are white metal and only last 1-2 seasons

check the lines/hoses to the impeller for blocks and air leaks

check the impeller like Jerry stated

then if the impeller lost any blades, pull them out of the thermostat housing. they may be blocking the water flow to the manifolds

then check the manifolds and elbows as they are almost 40 years old.
