BAYLINER DECK REPAIR

Hi I have a 1987 Bayliner Bass boat 16 foot does anyone know what size plywood they used was it 5/8ths?

Ya I'm planning on redoing the base floor deck and I haven't had time to go out and measure the deck but im willing to bet it's 5/8ths

You should start reading other "soft spot in the floor" or "Bayliner rot" threads before doing any work on it.

Yep, or really ANY soft deck topic.....

An 80s Bayliner was a budget friendly boat, I wouldnt expect that any plywood other then 1/2in was used.

1st project boat?

Yes it is my first major project .... But I'm a maintenance technition so I'm pretty handy. I've done multiple small upgrades to my 1994 14 foot Livingston multihull lowrance 7inch gps/chart platter has a zero gauge jensen radio added 2 new chairs and raised um up a little with another swivel plate so it wouldn't scrape the floor previous owner left biggest feature is a bow flood spot light
