Bayliner swim platform removal question

I tried this on the Bayliner Owners Forum and didn't get any replies.

I have removed all of the stainless bolts and nuts on the platform that attach it to the transom mounts. Should the platform now slide up, off of the mounting rails or do I have to take the transom bolts and the mounting rails off also?

I found it to be a really simple job. Take the hardware out of the railing and remove. Take the hardware out of the lower support and remove. Remove the four nuts on the transom inside the battery well and the platform will pull free. You will need someone to hold the bolts on the outside of the transom while someone takes the nuts off the bolts.
