Ok so the boat is tuned and running good. Can anyone tell me what the top speed and rpms of a Bayliner Capri should be?? It's 18'8" with a 2.1 ltr

WOT is 4500-5100 rpms.
What pitch is your prop?

I am assuming this is the 1950 Capri you have based on the length and engine.
Is it the bow rider or the cuddy you have?

I have the 1985 Capri Cuddy which has the 2.3L engine (should be the same hp as the 2.1L).
I have WOT at approx 4,800 RPM and will go about 32 mph. It cruises good at 28 mph.
This is with a 14x19 prop and a decent amount of gear on board.

I just acquired the same boat in the bow rider version to fix. I have not had it on the water yet, but I would assume that the lighter bow rider would get a few more mph out of it.
