Recently bought a 1988 Bayliner Capri, needs a little TLC, it’s stuck in drive shift cable broke, is it difficult to replace? Boat has a 2.3ltr ford engine cobra omc.

Well you have your hands full with the boat. Sure hope you don't have much issues with it because parts will be hard to come by. The shift cable is not that hard and there are you tube vids out there.
